Rare Moment: Jimger Adams Design Call

My brother and other brother's wife were like oil and water. My brother had a massive coronary and since his recovery has lost a lot of his memory.  They get along well now.  There is always a silver lining in everything.  This photo was taken at my niece's graduation.

I used some of the older My Minds Eye papers from Beloved.  I made the flowers using the Flower Shoppe Cartridge and then inked the edges of all using distress inks in Frayed Burlap, Mustard Seed and Barn Door.  I used the Cuttlebug Flower embossing tool to make veins on the leaves and flowers and distressed them in Pine Needles distress ink. That was a try it out thing that really worked well. In person they look great. I will always use this technique now.  The honeycomb was cut using the Teresa Collins Basics cartridge from the Cricut Craft Room Exclusives.  The title was a combination of the Art Nouveau and Cricut Craft Room Basic fonts.  The label with the butterfly came from the Imagine More cartridge. The bling on the flower centered between the pictures came from Walmart.  They have bags of these that are really cheap. I edged the pagewith  my tool which is the the We R Memory Keepers Sew Stamper tool that I picked up in the My Craft Channel deal of the day.
