I was so excited to get the photo, I forgot to try something new. I guess cutting the metallic paper was new to me. I have had it for months and never found anything special enough to use it on. This scrap was worthy to me. The cuts came from Cricut's Sentimentals. I never thought I would use the feather pen and hand from that cart, but this scrap was perfect for it. It was the first cut I made. I also used the Martha Stewart Hydrangea Punch to make the smaller flowers. The blingy centers are Creative Imaginations. The title font is from Don Juan, another cart I had not yet used.

Future Scrapper
When I was a child, I loved to draw, color and basically any craft. It has stuck with me through my life. Little did I know as I took those crayons, pens, glue, construction paper and scissors, I was scrapbooking. I just never added pictures to my art. This is me as a child while on vacation visiting my cousins in Ohio. I think I was 5 or 6, given the haircut. This pic was just posted on facebook by my cousin, and again it was the first time I ever saw it. I will treasure this for it shows that this craft is one of the foundations of who I am. Also, it is one of the few pictures where I look like my daughter. What a treasure. This is on my list of my personal all time favorites.
