Cute as a Button

What can I say, this is Roscoe. This is his world.

I created the design for this when using the Cricut Craft Room for any project was one of the Challenges on the Cricut blogs. I got so busy, I never had time to make it..  The whole thing was made using my Imagine. The cartridge used was Hey Diddle Diddle, I just love the crosshatch patterns on that cartridge.  The hearts were cut from the All Wrapped Up cartridge using Hey Diddle Diddle patterns. If there is only one attribute on the Cricut Craft Room that I could pick as my favorite, it would be the ease of mixing patterns with different shapes. Now that the carts are linking, it is even easier.

Different Expression

Betsy and I decided to make a photo strip on her i-Phone. Did you know they have an app for that?  I always wanted to do one of those, but never had the $2 when the machiines were around in the 70's.  She called out expressions we were to make while the photos were shooting.  A brief and whimsical minute in my life.  As I am blonde and she is brunette, we are different but our love of humor and fun has kept us friends for over 20 years now.

The background paper was from My mine's eye Be Loved collection.  The butterfly was from All wrapped up but I changed the papers using Best Friends Patterns.  The flowers are Prima  and the title was from the Cricut Craft Room Basics.

Fun

When in Richmond last week, Betsy and I met my daughter and her boyfriend for dinner.  He is the love of her life.  She has been dating him off and on since they were in their teens.  She struggles, as we all did that the age with the "Man" ways, but they are a very cute and loving couple.  One can tell he adores her too.  She loves it when I come. He is so sweet when I see him.

I used Pink Paisley's Paper Junque paper to make this and some chipboard pieces I had from years ago that are glitter white.  The paper line is really fun to play with.  I tried to do something non-traditional with this layout as they are a nouveau couple.  The chipboard hearts are from Heidi Swap from years ago. It is fun to go through old stash.

Girls Night

My friend and I decided we would try out a night club when I was in town last week.  We went to a place called Sharky's. They had a band that was playing oldies (80;s)  which was the new stuff  to us.  We decided to play pool. Once that was done, we were over it. We went home and back to her place and movies. I am finding it is good and cheap to be old.

The whole things was made with Lori's gardne and little bit of stickles, using white paper in the Imagine.  I also used Cricut Craft Room Basics to make the title.  For those of you using the Cricut Craft Room, Lori's Garden will link to the room now.

Born to Ride

Our Grandson loves the race track. He has been crawliing over his Uncle Justin's car since he could.  When Rhylen wasn't at the dessert table, he was all over the gear.  He found a spare tire to the generator and claimed it as his seat for a while.  He will be hitting the dirt for sure.

This entire layout was made using the Cricut Imagine JT cartirdge.  I wanted to try a block effect.  The border was made using Ribbons and Rosettes, the arrow by Cricut Craft Room Exclusives Arrows, and the title was made using the Cricut Craft Room Classics stars.  The buttons are by American Crafts.  The black background paper was from Walmart's $5.00 pads.

Busted

Our grandson was looking at the cupcakes on the dessert table at a party we threw a few weeks ago most of the night. His brother has type diabetes so his parents do not let anyone in the house have sweets. Grandpa broke the rules

I used theCricut Craft Room to make this layout using the Cricut Craft Room Basics. The folder photo mat and clipboard were from Fabulous Finds. The cupcake was from Yummy using Hop Scotch patterns, the bee for "the sting" was from Art Nouveau.

Man Mall

My husband has been going to as many auctions he could find since I've known him. I never understood why he would want to buy the junk they sell at those things. He asked me if I would go with him last night, and since the holidays ate a lot of my time, I decided to suck it up and go with him. When we got there the floors were dirt, the merchandise dusty or rusty, and the room was smokey. As I watched the men there I began to get it. It is like the mall. Everyone was looking at what the other got, talking about the deals they got and shooting the breeze. There was even a place to get soda's and popcorn. I realized auctions are the man's mall.

I made this whole layout with white cardstock, cricut craft room and my Cricut Imagine using the Vintage papers, Paper Trimmings, Sophisticated and Ribbons and Rosettes carts.  The mats, title and journal oval were from Cricut Craft Rooms Basics. The ribbon flowers were from 3D Bows.
